Bringing a breath of fresh air to the Capital District, Meka’s Lounge offers the region a unique wine-bar-meets-martini-lounge that has rapidly established itself as a firm favorite with the crowds and critics alike. Opened in late 2009, Meka’s has since become one of the most friendly and relaxed places to unwind with friends and enjoy quality drinks and delicious food.

Featuring 40+ beers from around the world including upscale domestics, at Meka’s you’re spoiled for choice. The extensive wine menu offers carefully selected boutique wines from smaller producers (including local NY state wineries) and the ever changing list of unique martinis that runs the spectrum from classic to playful.

The food menu is just as good, with the cheeseboard a particularly nice touch for those wanting something to accompany their wine, and the fresh wraps and 100% Angus sliders are both highly popular hunger-busters.

The ambiance is low-key and relaxing; the interior featuring exposed brick, hardwood floors and exquisitely comfy leather sofas and ottomans. There’s also plenty of table seating and tons of room at the sleek bar where the incredibly friendly staff will make you one of the signature cocktails.
