We went to Hickory House for our date nite, Weds. It is quite a drive for us, but my husband is a
-BQ expert and he said it was worth it. The only downside was we were seated on the patio and had to deal with a heater that was blowing right at us. The waitress did her best to make it better. The food was excellent and we do plan on coming back.

GREAT barbeque! It's a little bit pricey, but I think it's worth it! There was a long wait on a weekday night which was kinda a bummer, but a testimony to the good food.

Hickory House does not lie when they say they have the best ribs in Colorado. They were slide off the bone tender with a really great sauce and a tang of smoke. Onion rings were hand dipped and delish! I had fries and a salad, and my beau had cole slaw and beans...all was super yummy (except the beans needed a bit more time, but the sauce was good). He is an old fashioned southern boy that moved here not too long ago and this is the ONLY BBQ place in Denver so far he has liked - and we have been EVERYWHERE! We will be going back for sure!

We LOVE Hickory House. It has delicious food in a casual atmosphere. The Barbeque is great and at affordable prices. We take all of our out of town guests here. We are so glad it is so close to home. We have gotten there food to go too!

I didn't like ribs until I went to Hickory House for the first time! Now I love them, but only from Hickory House. My kids love it too, especially the brisket. Not fatty at all, just tender and yummy! Gotta try the onion rings - these are my all time fave!

I have always received excellent service at Hickory House. The food has never been anything less than perfect, and the prices simply can't be beat! (and the portions are huge!) I moved here from the Kansas City area 3 years ago, and it is hard to beat BBQ from back home -but- Hickory House is the only BBQ I will eat in CO! In fact, when family or friends come out to visit me, HH is a mandatory stop!
