Recently opened in South Tampa (the location was formerly Gumby’s Pizza), Slice might be new, however the culinary team behind it are anything but – combining over 100 years creating the finest pizza and Italian dishes imaginable.
The homemade dough and pizza sauce are made in-house daily, and the toppings are applied generously and liberally to all of the specialty pizzas, which range from the satisfying 12” to the family-friendly 20” monster, but it’s not all about pizzas at Slice…

Named after the New England shipyard workers who ‘ground’ rivets off metal ships and feasted on these tasty sandwiches made in the nearby Italian immigrant eateries, the grinders at Slice are guaranteed to appease the appetite of even the hardest worker, just as their forebears did 100 years ago.
