The daughter of a Kenyan coffee farmer, Rose grew up learning the intricacies of selecting and roasting coffee beans, and grinding and brewing perfect coffee. And it shines through in every cup at Cafe Kili.

Relocating to Tampa 10 years ago, Rose and her husband Patrick opened Cafe Kili in 2007 and it remains family owned and operated to this day, offering freshly roasted coffee, Kenyan clothing and jewelry, and African and South American coffee.

Hand-roasting its beans in small batches of a few pounds at a time, gives the coffee at Cafe Kili a wonderful smoothness, with rich, aromatic flavors free of burnt bitterness. There’s also a freshness to the coffee that only newly roasted beans can give, and it all adds up to the best cup of coffee you’ve ever had.

In addition to its outstanding coffee, Cafe Kili also offers delicious frozen drinks and fresh fruit smoothies, as well as an assortment of fabulous homemade sandwiches ideal for breakfast, lunch, dinner or anytime in between! Throw in free Wi-Fi, open mic and live music nights, and there’s simply no better place to be for a bite to eat and the perfect cup of coffee… and life doesn’t get much better than that!
