The saying goes that ‘you can’t please all the people all the time’ but the Deck Pizza and Pub has been doing just that for five years now – serving up the best NY-style pizza and ice-cold beer to all-comers at it’s SoHo-based eatery.

The Deck has become the pizza-joint of choice for families throughout the South Tampa area; it’s a popular place to chill over a beer ‘n’ slice for the USF and UT crowd; is an essential pre- and post-bar stopover for the Howard Ave bar-hopping socialites; and being open ‘til 3am at weekends it is equally in favor with the area’s nigh-club denizens. The Deck really is all things to all people.

Of course their hand-tossed, thin crust, NY-style pizzas with home-made sauce and as many toppings as you care to add are the backbone of the menu, but there are also a mass of pub-grub favorites including wings, subs, wraps, salads, and quesadillas, not to mention a special kids menu for the young ‘uns.

Then there are the specials. The Deck is always serving up something tempting, such as $1 drafts and cheese slices every Wednesday and $5 Friday pitchers and beer pong. It’s not surprising that the Deck has been voted #1 at Citysearch.com and #1 at AOL’s City’s Best.com for two straight years.
