There’s TV’s showing the game but it’s not a demented sports bar, it’s got a great ambiance but doesn’t need a gimmick like an Irish theme, there’s no poseurs in bedazzled shirts, it’s just the #1 watering hole that people love.

Oh and they do excellent wings. In fact they do a whole bunch of great food – sandwiches, wraps and salads – but you can’t beat their wings; and don’t forget, it’s 59c wings all day on Thursdays.

Wings Gone Wild is a popular after-work hangout, with a weekday happy hour from 3pm ‘til 7pm, although with $2.50 domestic drafts and ever changing specials, WGW is far more wallet-friendly (not to mention people-friendly) than the Hyde Park bars.
